Stock Show

Howdy Cowpokes! Actually we are pretty much city folk, but we try to visit the National Western Stock Show most of the years that it comes around. It's pretty amazing to see the animals close up and (re)discover nifty things like how much wool you get when you shear a sheep, how much the amazing "last mop you will ever buy" costs, and that goats will chew on your long hair if it dangles in front of them when you are petting them. The Stock Show is really a lot more about steer and ranches than my petting farm pictures show, but that's all right isn't it? Aww.... look at this little boy in his overalls...

Pretty cute, huh? For these layouts I used mostly Kristin Aagard's kit On the Farm. It is currently priced at $6.50 and I found it to be a good buy.

Tiger Fun!

I made a highly successful layout to showcase how much fun my son has with his stuffed tiger. Everything worked together amazingly on this layout. Roar!

This kit was made using the tiger and sign from Who's At the Zoo kit, by Just So Scrappy (only $1.50 as of this writing)

Most everything else I used came from Kristin Aagard's amazing kit, Zoo Day. Her animals are SOOOO cute, but the tiger from the kit above matched our stuffed tiger better. 

As of this writing, her Zoo Day kit sells for $7.00. It comes with so many animals. I love them so much even though they all look a little depressed. This kit was one of the first ones I ever purchased. I bought it for half price on Black Friday. :) I wish those half priced days would come around more often.  Please, leave a comment to let me know what you think of my Tiger Fun page.
